Daily Canasta Deal - July 13, 2026
One shared deal, the same cards for everyone. A fresh deal lands at midnight UTC.Today's Samba deal
Everyone playing Samba today (July 13, 2026) is dealt the exact same hand from the exact same shuffle. Samba is a three-deck expansion of Canasta that adds a whole new way to meld: alongside the usual sets of matching ranks, you may build sequences, runs of three or more cards in the same suit. This variant is rated Intricate, and the goal is to first side to 10,000 points - so a strong daily result comes from melding smart and scoring high, not from racing the clock.
Today's tip: Learn to see every card two ways, as a matched rank and as a link in a suited run, because the players who weave sets and sambas together score far faster than those who chase only one. For the full playbook, read the Samba strategy guide.

How the Daily Canasta Deal works
The daily deal turns Canasta into a shared contest. Everyone in the world is dealt the same cards, built from today's date - so a high score isn't just high, it's high on the same hand everyone else is holding. Here's the short version:
- A fresh deal is generated at midnight UTC and is identical for every player.
- Play it out, meld your canastas, go out, and your final score is ranked against everyone on the same deal.
- Come back tomorrow for a brand-new deal - skip a day and that deal is gone for good.
- Signed-in players keep a permanent name and build a streak; guests can post a display name too.
Tips for a higher daily score
- Aim for canastas, not just melds. A natural canasta is worth 500 and a mixed one 300, so a single completed pile can dwarf a handful of loose melds.
- Get your red threes down. They bank 100 each (800 for all four) and cost you nothing but a slot on the table.
- Don't hand over the discard pile. Reading which cards feed your opponent's melds is often worth more than one extra point of your own.
- Warm up on a regular game first: try Samba or brush up on the rules.

Daily Canasta Deal FAQ
How is the daily deal chosen?
It is built automatically from today's date, so every player in the world is dealt the exact same shuffle and the exact same starting hand. Nobody draws easier cards, which is what makes the daily scores worth comparing.
When does the Daily Canasta Deal reset?
A brand-new deal appears at midnight UTC. Once the day turns over, that deal is retired for good, so a long daily streak takes real commitment to protect.
Do I need an account to play the daily deal?
No. You can play the shared deal and post a score as a guest. Signing in with a free account keeps a permanent name and carries your streak across phones, tablets and computers.
How are daily results ranked?
Only completed games count, and results are ranked by final score from highest to lowest. Ties break toward the faster finish, so a big pile of canastas beats a cautious hand that only nibbles at points.
